Easy Company (twenty July 1942 in Camp Toccoa, Georgia – 30 Nov 1945 in French republic) was in the United States Army's 2nd Battalion (which also included Dog and Fox Visitor), 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment of the 101st Airborne Division.[1] [2]
The unit was made famous past the HBO miniseries Band of Brothers, based on the book of the same name past historian Stephen Ambrose. It chronicled their wartime experiences, from Piece of cake's bones grooming at Toccoa, Georgia, through the American airborne landings in Normandy, Operation Market Garden, the Battle of Bastogne and on to the finish of the war at Hitler'due south Eagle Nest.

As of Dec three, 2021 at that place is no more surviving officers from Piece of cake Company, the last i existence Col. Edward Shames.
As of December three, 2021 Bradford C Freeman is still a surviving veteran[3]
